All it took was MJ's ghost.

My philosophy professor is known for his doubt in the existence of God and for his strong views about the existence of aliens.

I remember that day in our philosophy class when he told us to read the Bible. I thought he was finally going to accept the existence of God. He surprised us, though, with his reason for the whole don't-forget-to-read-the-Bible reminder.

Apparently, he thinks that reading the Bible should be done in a "scholarly" way. He claims that if we do, we will discover that the Bible is an evidence of alien existence and alien encounters. He even told us, in all confidence, that God is actually an alien. The first time I heard that I was like, wth?! I was so not ready for that. But, of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and as my professor, I respect his ideas.

In today's philosophy class, he mentioned the buzz on a certain video in YouTube. It's that clip from Larry King Live with a clip that showed the supposed "ghost" of the late Michael Jackson in his house in Neverland. After telling us about the video he was telling us about how if that video really shows the ghost of Michael Jackson then that would mean that there really is a "soul."

I've checked the video, and indeed it does look a bit convincing. Whether it really is a ghost or not, I don't know. It's just nice to know that at least there is a way to make a believer out of my professor. It's just weird how only a Michael Jackson video can do that to him, when my classmates' speeches on the existence of God won't even persuade him at all.

Oh, and if you're wondering what video I'm talking about, it's this one:
